Fancy Fare is a new comedy by Ross Lonnie about the perils of fine dining to be enjoyed whilst dining in Perth restaurants. Matilda Bay is lucky enough to be hosting the play on Friday 30 July 2010. What a great way to combine the Matilda Bay experience with a live theatre performance. See below for further details.

WINNERS!!!

Matilda Bay Restaurant was lucky enough to take home the "Best Tourist Restaurant" at the Restaurant & Catering Awards on 21 June 2010. Congratulations and a huge thank you to the wonderful team here at the bay. Keep up the hard work!.

IT'S HERE...... The 2010 Winter a la carte menu! I know I say this all the time, but it is absolutely our BEST yet! The goat's cheese parfait comes highly recommended! Be sure to check out the photos of the new menu in our photo gallery.

The Bowl Food menu is still available Monday to Friday for lunch in the restaurant and in the bar on Saturday and Sunday for lunch. The Bowl Food is the perfect way to sample a few items from our stunning a la carte menu.

Fresh rustic bread rolls, Lescure butter and olive oil

 

Entrée

Soup of the day

or

Nor West scallops, sliced San Daniele Parma ham, seared scallops,

olive and tomato crostini with organic olive oil

or

Half quail, partly boned, grilled with pumpkin puree, black pig chorizo,

brussel sprouts and red wine pear 

 

Main Course

Fish of the day, simply grilled served with avocado and tomato salad,

organic olive oil and smoked sea salt

or

Dry aged sirloin of beef, char grilled, buttered sugar snap peas,

sautéed Kipfler potatoes, smoked tomato butter

or

Mount Barker chicken breast, oven roasted, sautéed courgettes,

Morcilla sausage, polenta, hollandaise sauce
